Life's a beach

If this doesn't get you in the mood for summer, I don't know what will.
This guy knows his place (and purpose?)

I actually love swimsuits like this, especially the 3rd one from the right.
It's all about the cuuuuuuuuuurves baby.

Yeh I bet you want the summer now don't you?

enough daydreaming, back to work :(

Benny & Joon

"It seems to me that, I mean, except for being a little

mentally ill, she's pretty normal."
Who needs a toaster when you have Johnny Depp and an iron?
Cap'n crunch & Peanut Butter milkshake (snorkeling goggles are essential)
The bread dance.

I only watched this film for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it.
If you're in the mood for a cute but touching little 90's film, then this is the one.

Sporty Sunday

As soon my housemate told me we should do the 6 mile run for Sport Relief, the HARDCORE training began.

OK so I lied....I found out Friday night, the run was on Sunday and by 'hardcore training' I mean a jog in the park...
I've never ever done one of these charity runs before because I've never been the sporty type, even back at school I think I dreaded P.E if it had anything to do with running around that horrible white track. It just meant humiliating yourself in front of others and turning up to your next class with a face the colour of a tomato. Attractive.
BUT enough of the sad stories (put your violins away please), because I decided ages ago that I needed to be healthier, lose a bit of weight and generally feel a bit more confident about myself blah de blaaaaah so I joined the gym and ate less crap and it seems to have paid off (que the inspirational Take That music)
SO......bringing us back to Sunday, I managed to do the run in just over an hour and a few minutes and didn't stop once so I'm thrilled, considering I used to only be able to run for about 2 minutes (that's not even a whole song on an ipod) and want to die.

I doubt you read any of that so here's a couple of photos from Sunday :)
My view as we started the run. Such a nice route along the Quayside with the bridges and the Sage.
My cheeky little medal.
And I thought I'd end this post on possibly the sweetest thing ever. I saw this old couple casually walking in the race, without a care in the world, as everyone sped past them. Even though he's got a walking frame, he still managed to do his part and I love that :)

Oh Elizabeth darling!

We hate them under our eyes, but bloody love buying them.
Well I know I do because I find myself doing a lot of the buying, but this is the last one I swear! (don't make me swear on your pet's life though because that could be risky). If  I had about 15 shoulders it would probably make sense to make such frequent purchases, but (before you ask) no I really don't have 15 shoulders, are you insane? Focus.
So I saw this bag and I thought 'yes', and then I discovered it was Elizabeth Arden to which I thought 'hell yes' and then I saw it was only £6.50 and well that's when I didn't think. By that time I was walking home with a new bag.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?!

I swear I always seem to stumble across the weirdest photography, I love it. I mean come on, it's a lot better than photos of a bowl...on a table...and....oh wait for black and white. So yeh why not bring in some flying babies, take some photos, go crazy, it makes perfect sense to me . I realise they're not actually flying babies, but then again how can I prove they're not?  I'll let you ponder on that....(for probably about half a second because we all the answer).
So anyway, Rachel Hulin you crazy woman, I'll let your work speak for itself now:
The Flying Series
Just chillin', no biggie.

Bargain Boots.

Bought these a while back and at £8 I convinced myself I needed them.
How did I convince myself you ask? I looked down and remembered I had feet. Sold.
Sadly, I think the weather likes to mock me, because as soon as I bought these 'winter' boots, it only got bloody warmer...ah well..looks like you're going back under my bed and I won't be seeing you for a while
(I'm talking about the shoes..not you, stop panicking).
On a shoe related note, I did see a girl walking to uni (or maybe a bad shoe convention?) in a pair of pink glittery sandals and I just thought yeh I know it's a little bit sunny, but that's what makes it daylight, not fucking Spain...
Bit aggressive? yeh as I was saying, £8!
make a gif
Thanks for reading & watching my little shoe dance...

Fresh air.

I think the sky was showing off today (the vain bitch), so of course I felt it was only polite to respond by taking a photo.
I feel I should sum up with a beautiful yet witty metaphor about life and erm..the sky? and somehow relate into one uplifting inspiring  message, but I'm just not that good.
Life's greener on the other side?
Shit no, that's depressing....ignore that.

And so it begins...

I saw this cheeky bit of graffiti on my way back from uni.
Same place I saw the 'Life is Peaches' message (what an ironic contrast.)
Looks like this could be the start of something..
